This flavorful, easy guacamole recipe whips up in less than 5-minutes and is sure to please everyone in your family. Avocados are one of my favorite sources of fats, especially those heart-healthy monounsaturated fats. Monounsaturated fats reduce LDL and triglycerides, thereby keeping arteries clear and void of plaque. They nourish the skin, keeping it soft, supple, and hydrated.
We use this recipe as a dip for veggies or blue corn chips, a spread for toast, or as the star in our weekly, taco Tuesday.
¼ cup tomatoes
¼ cup onion
Juice of ½ lemon
1 garlic clove
1 tsp cumin
1-2 tsp salt
- Combine all ingredients into a mini food processor and enjoy!
